Spanish delivery firm Seur, a subsidiary of DPDgroup, has purchased a fleet of 200 Ford E-Transit cargo vans to improve its green credentials.
The E-Transit has a range of up to 317km and a load capacity of up to 15m3, with clients benefitting from Ford Pro’s connectivity ecosystem, designed to maximize business productivity.
Elena Burguete, director of Ford Pro, said, “With productivity and sustainability as two of our main priorities, we are proud to be able to collaborate with Seur in its goal to be the most sustainable delivery company in Spain.”
José Manuel Fernández Pons, operations manager at Ford Pro, added, “Seur’s objectives fit perfectly with Ford Pro’s present and future plans, spearheaded by the new Ford E-Transit. Thanks to its more than 300km of autonomy, its 15m3 of cargo space and its connectivity solutions, the E-Transit is the ideal response to the current mobility needs of companies.”
Benjamín Calzón, operational excellence officer at Seur, said, “This agreement with Ford reflects one of our company’s goals: to become the most sustainable company in the entire sector. In this sense, 10% of our fleet is already green and, by 2030, we are planning to incorporate 3,000 electric vehicles.”
