E-commerce marketplace SHOP.CA has partnered with drone technology developer Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) to develop unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) delivery services for online customers living in Canada.
DDC and SHOP.CA will immediately commence testing and integration of the drone delivery platform within SHOP.CA’s logistics framework. The aim is to utilize DDC’s technology to provide an unparalleled, just in time delivery service for SHOP.CA customers who desire immediate product delivery. The drone delivery service will be commercially available to customers once government approvals have been obtained.
