CitySprint-owned LastMileLink Technologies has launched a new app to help couriers accept and manage work more easily.
The courier app, which can be white-labelled, will help couriers work to a schedule that best suits them. It allows couriers working with CitySprint to easily accept or decline jobs, carry out multi-stop journeys and pick-up returns, all from their Android smartphone.
It also offers couriers full visibility of their mileage and accrued earnings on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
The app aims to reduce fleet equipment costs and boost efficiency by offering couriers the most optimal route.
Santosh Sahu, CEO of LastMileLink Technologies, commented, “Our app is the first of many exciting new developments from LastMileLink Technologies. It’s a credit to the hard work and dedication of our team.
“Through the app, couriers and fleet managers both have access to brand new, innovative technology which will revolutionize their way of working; cutting time and improving performance. It’s a win-win.”
CitySprint continues to extend the app’s user base across both business sectors and courier categories, and the LastMileLink team will be carrying out improvements to ensure app users have the best user experience.
LastMileLink Technologies is a startup owned by CitySprint. It was launched in 2016 to develop and build industry-leading technology that will support CitySprint, and other partners.
Patrick Gallagher, CEO of the CitySprint Group, said, “Technology is right at the heart of our business. It means we can operate more efficiently, provide our customers with a better service and make life easier for our couriers.
“Same-day delivery is revolutionizing logistics, driven by the demand for convenience. Our investment in technology is helping us stay ahead of the game which is why we created LastMileLink Technologies.”
