UK Mail has announced major changes to its senior management structure, including the appointment of Martin Rantle as vice president of sales, Scott Laird as vice president of operations, and the promotion of Ros Hunt to vice president of marketing.
Rantle will be responsible for driving growth across the parcels business and will utilize nearly 30 years’ experience in various senior positions in TNT in the UK, Europe, Americas and Asia. Recently he held board positions at GEFCO UK and Palletline UK and Europe.
With 12 years’ experience in the UK Mail business, Laird is now responsible for all aspects of operations including security, health and safety and network development. This includes the expansion of UK Mail’s processing and delivery capabilities, in preparation for future business growth. Laird also joins the UK Mail executive board.
Promoted from director of marketing, Hunt will now take on additional responsibility for customer service and product development, with a mandate to ensure the business responds to market trends and changing customer needs.
