Thomas Björkman, a certified accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), has been elected chairman of the board for the Handheld Group, a global manufacturer of rugged mobile computers.
Björkman served on the board of PwC Sweden between 2009 and 2013, and holds a degree in economics and business administration from the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law.

Based in Lidköping, Sweden, the Handheld Group has subsidiaries in nine countries on three continents. Its line-up of rugged computers is specifically developed for field workers in industries such as geomatics, logistics, forestry, public transportation, utilities, construction, maintenance, mining, military and security.
