On January 1, 2024, Alberto Navarro will become Geopost’s executive vice president of Europe, reporting to the company’s CEO, Yves Delmas.
Navarro joins the executive committee of Geopost with a proven track record as CEO of Seur, one of Geopost’s Spanish subsidiaries. He will replace Eric Dietz, who is leaving the company.
Navarro joined Seur in 2009 as CEO. From 2022 he also led Geopost’s Iberian Cluster, which encompasses the subsidiaries Seur, TIPSA and DPD Portugal. During his almost 30 years of professional experience in Europe, he has been closely linked to the express and logistics sector.
As executive vice president in charge of Europe, Navarro will be responsible for strengthening Geopost’s position on the continent, accelerating the company’s development in strategic vertical markets and the out-of-home segment and consolidating its cross-border growth.
Delmas commented, “I am happy to welcome Alberto as an executive member of Geopost. He has extensive industry experience, demonstrating successful achievements in the Spanish market. I’m convinced he will build upon the progress made under Eric Dietz’s management and contribute to the continued success of our group.”
Navarro added, “I am more than honored to join the executive committee of Geopost. I look forward to further contributing to the development of our group in Europe. In a rapidly evolving market, my priorities will be to harness the unique entrepreneurial spirit of our teams, to strengthen our core business assets while accelerating our out-of-home expansion in Europe.”
With Navarro joining the Geopost executive committee, David Sastre has been appointed CEO of Seur. He has been part of the Seur team since 2010 and chief customer officer since 2016.
