Commenting on his appointment, Knap said, “The Czech Post must become a modern and well-functioning company with high-quality services and a range of products that its clients will appreciate.
“I will focus on improving the working conditions of all employees and on the company’s economic results. Postal workers are to receive adequate reward for their demanding work. The Czech Post deserves to be a recognized company.”
Following the new appointment, Czech Post hopes to speed up the transformation of its postal offices network, modernize sorting and parcel centers, improve its IT infrastructure and focus more on services that bring financial effects.
