Ukrainian logistics company Nova Post has opened its first branch in France, in the city of Nice, that will enable to company to provide express parcel delivery services throughout the country.
The branch will be open six days a week – closed on Sundays – and will provide delivery to lockers, parcel collection points and home delivery services throughout the country.
“Nova Post continues to expand in Europe. [In May] we opened a branch in the UK, and today we officially celebrate our entry into the French market, bringing the number of European countries where we offer fast, efficient delivery of documents, parcels and goods to 14,” explained Volodymyr Poperechnuk, co-owner of the Nova Group (Nova Post).
“Our European network comprises 69,000 service outlets, but the opening of our first agency in France is a special one for us. This is our 100th branch in Europe. We also plan to open branches in the country’s biggest cities: Paris, Lyon, Lille, Toulouse and Bordeaux. And this is just the beginning,” he added.
At the Nice branch, customers will be able to send and receive documents, parcels and goods weighing up to 100kg to and from Ukraine, across France and between the European countries where Nova Post operates. Customers will be also able to collect their parcels from 17,000 Chronopost collection points throughout France.
Nova Post’s courier delivery service will also be available in every commune in the France, with delivery or collection by courier from a specific address costing an additional €8 (US$8.67). The company’s partner for home delivery throughout the country is the local company Chronopost.
Nova Post provides delivery between the European countries where it operates: Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Spain and now France. Soon, international delivery will also be available to Moldavia, Romania and the UK.
