DHL Parcel has expanded its Parcel Prio service to business customers in Germany, promising next working day delivery or your money back.
In the event of any transit time delays of domestic parcel shipments, DHL will reimburse merchant shipping costs in part or in full.
DHL Parcel Prio will first be available to all business customers in the regions of Leipzig, Würzburg and Nürnberg, eventually expanding to the rest of the country. The Prio service only requires businesses to ship a minimum of 50 Prio items per day.
Achim Dünnwald, CEO of DHL Parcel Germany and Europe, said, “This is the logical next step for us as we work to align DHL Parcel’s service more and more with the needs of our customers.
“After offering this kind of Prio service for large shippers only and having established it in our nationwide network together with Amazon Prime we are now offering all online merchants a chance to benefit from the enhanced service.
“Speed of delivery and reliability are important overall trends in e-commerce. “With DHL Parcel Prio in combination with our time-slot delivery, customers now have much more opportunity to benefit from flexible parcel delivery times combined with guaranteed transit times and all for a reasonable price. No other parcel provider in Germany allows customers to combine both of these aspects to this extent.”
