Staples customers can now charge the cost of sending a shipment from one of 1,300 stores across the USA to their UPS account. This means that Staples customers registered with UPS no longer have to prepare labels ahead of time and will see the invoice, and any customized rates, on their regular UPS invoice.
This feature is particularly useful for people who spend a lot of time on the road, such as distributed sales professionals or technicians. Others, like small business owners, will conveniently be able to purchase office supplies for their business when they ship packages.
Damien Leigh, senior vice president, business services, Staples, said, “We’re thrilled to offer Staples customers the added convenience for shipping UPS packages. The new billing options combined with our expanded line of packaging and shipping products make one-stop shipping easy for our small business customers.”
