Prime Group companies, including postal integrator Prime Vision, have reported record revenues and profit for 2015, reflecting a continuing trend of expansion in key postal and logistics markets. Over the last couple of years revenues have almost doubled and employee numbers have increased as the group of companies have grown.
Eddy Thans, CEO of Prime Vision, said, “Strategically, we decided to broaden the scope of our offering. We realized we are sitting on a gold mine of operational experience and unique technical capability that could benefit postal organizations in new ways. We remain one of the world’s leading experts in development of reading and coding technologies used in the sorting of mail and parcels, but that alone no longer defines us.
“The Prime of today is one that is delivering game-changing automation platforms, integrating complete sortation systems, providing new cloud-based services, building hardware and software solutions. We are also a trusted consultancy for operational efficiency improvement and have many innovation programs on hot topics such as last-mile optimization, internet of things (IoT), drone deliveries and much more. For 2016 we expect further growth, especially of our services/support and innovation activities.
“Prime has benefited from the desire for postal and logistics players to implement efficiencies to increase competitiveness. We have also flourished in the role of a low cost, expert mid-sized integrator. Our fresh, transparent and cooperative attitude, building true long-term partnerships is recognized and embraced by our customers. While other suppliers have struggled, Prime has stepped up a gear and our results reflect the confidence our clients across the globe have in us.”
