Ukrainian logistics operator Nova Post has entered the UK market with two new branches in London and the launch of a mobile app for courier services.
Customers will be able to send and receive parcels to and from Ukraine as well as within the UK, with delivery to Ukraine taking five days.
“We continue to scale up in Europe,” commented Vyacheslav Klymov, co-owner of Nova Group (Nova Post) at the opening of the London branch on May 13. “Last week we entered Spain and today we are celebrating the official start of our work in the UK market. Along with the opening of branches, we have launched courier delivery. In the near future, we will provide the opportunity to send and receive parcels through the network of parcel lockers of our partner InPost. We are doing all this to ensure that our customers have a convenient and fast delivery service.”
The Nova Post branches are open on Fleet Street for parcels up to 30kg and in St Martin’s Way for cargo up to 1,000kg.
Customers can order the delivery of parcels up to 1,000kg by courier to any address in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, with Nova Post couriers delivering parcels within London and DPD delivering across the rest of the UK. DPD will also pick up parcels from customers’ addresses to deliver them to recipients in Ukraine or across the UK.
Couriers can be arranged via the Nova Post mobile app, which allows customers to create invoices, pay for delivery, call a courier, search for the nearest branch and track a parcel’s location online. The app is available in English and can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple Store.
