Postal service Nova Poshta has resumed services in the Balaklia region in Ukraine, following the country’s reclamation of the area from Russia.
On September 12, the Balaklia branch of Nova Poshta started receiving parcels up to 10kg. It intends to work every day from 11am to 4pm. The company plans to open 14 more branches in other de-occupied cities of the Kharkiv region this week, and by October 1 to restore 80% of the network in the liberated settlements of the Kharkiv region.
Residents of Balaklia will be able to receive parcels from relatives and friends as well as humanitarian aid. They will also be able to order essential items online, such food, medicine, or those goods that are not yet available in local stores.
