National postal operator Swiss Post has installed its 100th My Post 24 parcel locker terminal in Switzerland with the deployment of a new unit in the Bümpliz district of Bern. With 172 boxes, it is the largest parcel locker in the country to date. More than 11,000 households from the area can now receive, send and return parcels and registered mail 24-7.
Developed by Austrian automation specialist Keba, the My Post 24 terminals are based on the company’s KePol locker concept and can be installed for indoor and outdoor use, thanks to its sturdy design and robust software.
Swiss Post aims to further expand its services and install an additional 100 My Post 24 terminals at highly frequented locations by 2020. Swiss residents will thus have 200 parcel lockers available 24/7.
