German parcel locker network provider OneStopBox has announced it will be using Bloq.it’s innovative software to enable it to provide an agnostic experience for users and service providers alike.
Launched in March 2024, OneStopBox aims to simplify the process of parcel delivery and click and collect services, regardless of service providers and retailers.
According to the two companies, the collaboration signifies a significant step toward creating an open, agnostic smart locker network – by integrating the Bloq.it OS software platform, OneStopBox can now seamlessly manage smart lockers regardless of their manufacturer.
“With Bloq.it OS powering the network, OneStopBox will achieve true agnosticism, enabling seamless parcel reception from multiple carriers,” said Miha Jagodic, CEO of Bloq.it. “This collaboration sets the standard for open network protocols in the industry, and we anticipate deploying thousands of automated parcel machines (APMs) as a result.”
The integration of Bloq.it OS with OneStopBox’s smart lockers facilitates streamlined operations, eliminating the need for disparate systems and manual processes. Through this partnership, both companies aim to accelerate the adoption of smart locker solutions and propel the industry toward a more connected future.
“Bloq.it’s expertise in smart locker technology aligns perfectly with our mission, and together, we are poised to redefine the standards of convenience and accessibility,” added Elena Kasper, head of product management at OneStopBox.
