In a bid to provide more convenience to its customers, InPost has announced it has installed parcel lockers at several hospitals in Poland.
According to a post on LinkedIn, the lockers have been installed at the Children’s Memorial Health Centre, the University Children’s Hospital in Krakow, the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice and the Holy Trinity Hospital in Płock. A parcel locker will also be installed in the Mazovian Bródnowski Hospital and InPost is finalizing talks with several more facilities.
The company stated, “We know how difficult the time is for patients and their families, whose homes are often hundreds of kilometers away from the hospital, which makes it impossible to quickly deliver the most necessary items.
“That is why we decided to offer both patients and staff access to the most effective logistics network in Poland – the parcel locker network. Our solution enables safe and convenient collection of parcels without the need to leave the hospital premises.”
The company already offers its parcel locker service at everyday convenient locations, including airports and supermarkets.
