The final call for project submissions to this year’s European Green Last Mile report has been extended to Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
In our last two publications, we showcased almost 40 innovative projects aimed at lowering emissions and enhancing the efficiency of last-mile delivery. These initiatives were presented by manufacturers of various equipment and solutions, covering a wide range of products including cars, scooters, cargo bikes, IT technologies, packaging materials and comprehensive last-mile delivery solutions that incorporate pickup/drop off (PUDO) or automated parcel machine (APM) points.
Among the contributing brands to these reports were notable names such as bpost, DPD (Geopost), Evri, GLS, InPost, Sameday, PostNord, Parcel Pending by Quadient, SwipBox and several others, highlighting their commitment to sustainable delivery practices. This year marks the third edition of the ‘Green Last Mile’ report, curated by Last Mile Experts.
The enthusiasm for this edition mirrors that of the previous ones, attracting both returning participants and newcomers eager to share their projects. To date, we’ve gathered over a dozen initiatives. However, we aim to extend an opportunity to those who are yet to submit their projects, welcoming contributions from latecomers as well.
The structure of the application is very simple and only requires the preparation of the following document:
- Summary of project – maximum of 200 words and 2 graphical/pictorial slides
- Introduction to project – including initial assumptions and expected outcome – maximum 250 words
- Methodology – maximum 250 words
- Results – where possible, include actual CO2 reduction and any other environmental benefits – maximum 250 words
- Learnings – maximum 250 words
At the request of several companies that are finalizing material for the report, we have extended the deadline for submission of projects until Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
This is a wonderful opportunity and the last moment for your company to showcase your project (free of charge) in this year’s report. Please send an email to info@lmexpert.com and you will receive a sample application form back.
Thanks to our cooperation with SwipBox, the report will continue to be free and available to all interested parties in 2024. Moreover, as Parcel and Postal Technology International has become our media partner, we will be sharing highlights via its newsletters in advance of the publication of the full report.
