Belgian postal operator Bpost has announced the acquisition of Radial, a provider of integrated e-commerce logistics and omnichannel technology solutions. The agreement will see Bpost acquire 100% of the shares for US$820m.
In 2016, Radial fulfilled over 306 million units for its retail customers, across 24 fulfillment centers. As well as facilitating transportation, Radial also offers integrated services such as payment, fulfillment, customer care, and tax and fraud protection services for retailers.
In addition to gaining an important foothold in the USA, the acquisition will enable Bpost to strengthen its cross-border proposition for customers in Europe and North America.
