UPS is expanding its Express Plus service operations in Russia as it celebrates 30 years of service in the country.
The UPS Express Plus service option is available in the high business density areas of Moscow and St Petersburg for all Russian origin cities.
Domestic UPS Express services have been expanded to offer deliveries by 12.00pm and 2.00pm to nearly 900 postal codes in 44 regional centers.
UPS Express domestic now offers three timing options: 10.00am for UPS Express Plus in Moscow and St Petersburg; UPS Express by 12.00pm or 2.00pm; and UPS Express Saver by the end of the business day.
Pavel Adamovsky, country manager for Russia and Belarus, said, “With 30 years of experience serving Russian businesses, UPS is a seasoned player in this delivery market. By expanding our domestic express services, we offer a wider range of options to meet customers’ needs so businesses can continue to capitalize on Russia’s economic growth.”
In addition to expanding domestic express options, UPS has extended pick-up times for domestic and international outbound services in St Petersburg.
It has also reduced transit times from Moscow to Kazan, Novorossiysk, Omsk, Krasnodar, Naberezhnye Chelny and Samara.
Transit times have also been reduced for shipments between Novosibirsk and Omsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk and Novokuznetsk.
