Last-mile logistics company Stuart has partnered with integrations provider UrbanPiper to empower restaurateurs across the UK, Ireland and Europe through a combined tech offering, speeding up order and delivery times for consumers and businesses.
Founded in 2016, UrbanPiper aggregates restaurant delivery operations into a single dashboard. Through this partnership, restaurants can directly integrate with Stuart’s platform through UrbanPiper, instantly connecting them with a fleet of independent couriers. Restaurateurs will benefit from a streamlined delivery process from Stuart while gaining full control of all food delivery apps from UrbanPiper’s central dashboard.
The partnership combines Stuart’s on-the-ground expertise in urban logistics with UrbanPiper’s custom-built technology. As businesses continue to battle with low turnover due to increased costs and reduced footfall, this combined solution is expected to enable restaurateurs to speed up order time, improve accuracy and staff efficiency and ultimately reduce the time it takes for customers to receive their meals.
“It is imperative to support local restaurants and businesses as they navigate these challenging times,” said Cornelia Raportaru, CEO of Stuart. “Joining forces with UrbanPiper allows us to empower restaurateurs to realize their full potential, supported by technology that both simplifies order processes and connects them to a reliable and sustainable delivery fleet. This allows them to reach new groups of customers and build their business in new areas.”
Keerthana Shetty, head of global partner acquisition at UrbanPiper, commented, “We are committed to working jointly with restauranteurs to build technology to suit their unique, evolving needs. We’re excited for a new chapter of collaboration with Stuart, combining our passion and expertise to provide better solutions for restaurants.”
