Digital identity platform Nuggets has updated its contactless delivery technology to help retailers tackle fraud and chargebacks.
Biometric security protected by blockchain lets consumers provide contactless proof of ID upon delivery.
Nuggets says this will stop delivery-related chargebacks from happening in the first place by verifying delivery of a package to the right recipient.
Couriers complete contactless delivery by pinging the customer’s digital ID via an app, and request the biometric ID verification from the Nuggets app to confirm delivery.
