Croatian Post has started construction of an office building in Bakar-Kukuljanovo, improving the quality and speed of service in the west of the country.
The HKR60m (US$8.8m) facility will have a floor area of nearly 5,000m2 and a solar power plant.
It is close to the Rijeka-Zagreb highway and Kvarner road, and the center of Rijeka is 10km away.
Oleg Butkovic, minister of sea, transport and infrastructure, said, “Croatian Post is one of the largest companies in my field, which has been recording business success year after year. Last year, it concluded with the opening of the New Sorting Center in Velika Gorica to start this new investment in modernization.”
As he laid the foundation stone, Ivan Culo, president of the board of Croatian Post, said, “After completing the largest investment in the history of Croatian Post, the New Sorting Center in Velika Gorica, the Kukuljanovo facility is an end point in the infrastructure of Croatian Post, which will help us continue to grow logistically, develop and provide even better services to citizens.”
