AMR technology company Geek+ has deployed its Sky-Storage and Ground-Pick system in China to modernize the operations of energy company TICA Systems. The deployment is the first large-scale deployment of the tech company’s new technology.
The logistics solution comprises Geek+’s Sky-Storage and Ground-Pick technology, which enables high-density storage, and the company’s picking operations. The systems was deployed in two months and has now been in operation for six months.
With China pursuing carbon neutrality by 2030, TICA has expanded its operations to several major energy markets including geothermal, solar, liquid natural gas (LNG) power, biomass energy and industrial energy storage. In order to address the challenges that accompany such ambitious projects, TICA turned to smart logistics technology.
Kai Liu, Geek+ co-founder and vice president of picking and smart warehouse, said, “We are very proud to see our Sky-Storage and Ground-Pick system integrated so quickly and successfully into major manufacturing operations. New energy technologies are extremely important for the future, and it is very encouraging to see Geek+’s solutions making such a valuable contribution.”
