Two-person home delivery firm ArrowXL is calling on logistics experts, business intelligence professionals and data scientists to register for its inaugural hackathon next month.
Participants could earn up to £5,000 (US$6,640) by helping the company to optimize the implementation of a new route planning solution.
The event will take place on June 6-7, 2018, in Knowsley, near Liverpool in the UK. It is free to take part and the company is expecting more than 30 people across 10 teams.
James Robbins, chief information officer at ArrowXL, said, “We are expecting our very first hackathon to be a hotbed for innovation, creativity and brilliant ideas.
“The logistics industry is home to an incredible depth of talent and we are encouraging everybody to join us for this special event. There’s a fantastic prize fund waiting to be claimed by those teams that can help us to optimize the application of a new route planning system.
