Posten Norge (Norway Post) set a target in 2009 to reduce its CO2 emissions by 30% by the end of 2015. The post achieved this a year ahead of schedule and the operator has now set a new target to reduce its CO2 emissions by 40% by 2020.

A new development from Prime Competence allows postal carriers to feedback important information to improve overall service quality and efficiency. The app called Digital Mail Man can be used on iOS and Android devices and provides the means for all manner of issues to be reported in the field at any given time or place.
Business Development Innovation of the Year: Edfa3ly
Edfa3ly is an online platform, which enables people in Egypt to buy items from online shops around the world and have them delivered to their door. The company looks after the entire purchasing, shipping, customs clearance and last mile delivery process. Customers simply put items they’d like to buy in their Edfa3ly cart, and the company does the rest.
Supplier of the Year: Vanderlande
In July 2015, Vanderlande announced a record turnover of €988m (US$1bn) for the 2015 financial year (1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015), which is a significant increase of 25% from the corresponding figure of €790m (US$871m) in 2014. The turnover figure has increased due to the substantial growth in Vanderlande’s parcel and postal and warehouse automation.

During 2015 DPDgroup, the second-largest international parcel delivery network in Europe has won awards, invested in capacity and strengthened its parcel shop network. The company is now focusing on further growth and strengthening its position in the market.
