E-commerce technology provider MetaPack Group has expanded its operations into Asia with the opening of a new office in Hong Kong. MetaPack has undergone a period of growth in the last two years and now has operations in the US, Poland, Germany France and the UK.
Peter Winslow, who recently joined MetaPack as vice president of Greater China, will head up the new office. Prior to joining MetaPack, Peter was the managing director at InXpress, an authorized DHL Express reseller targeting SMEs in Hong Kong.
Patrick Wall, MetaPack CEO, said, “Not only are we pleased to announce the opening of our Far East Asia headquarters, but we can feel confident that the new office will be in safe hands with Peter coming on board with us. He has the leadership skills, business relationships and industry knowledge that will help us grow rapidly in the Far East.”
Winslow said, “The Far East is an area where e-commerce is growing at a phenomenal rate, and that is why it is extremely exciting to be entering the market and facilitating cross border online trade. There’s a great opportunity to connect European retail brands with Asian consumers as well as to help local Asian retailers and carriers transform the online consumer experience and offer a better choice of more competitive delivery services.”
