FedEx has expanded its self-collection network for inbound parcels to more than 700 locations in Hong Kong in partnership with postal operator Hongkong Post.
Customers will now be able to access self-collection points free of charge at over 400 7-Eleven convenience stores, 165 iPostal Stations and 119 post office counters across the country.
Customers can select their preferred collection location through WhatsApp or the FedEx official website. Upon receiving the shipment delivery notification via email or WhatsApp, recipients can follow the instructions to choose their preferred pickup location either through FedEx Delivery Manager online or through WhatsApp.
“In today’s evolving environment, the dynamic growth of e-commerce and cross-border trade requires a customer-centric approach to enhance integration between e-tailers and logistics,” said Anthony Leung, managing director of FedEx Hong Kong and Macau. “FedEx has always been dedicated to launching innovative solutions in the logistics industry that address our customers’ evolving needs.
“We’re pleased to team up with Hongkong Post to expand our self-collection network, strengthening our last-mile delivery capability and providing a better customer experience.”
