Royal Mail has improved its Click & Drop online postage and labeling service by adding a multi-label postage and printing feature, allowing SMEs to buy postage and create labels for up to five items at once. The post has also integrated its international delivery options into the service allowing SMEs to ship to over 200 countries worldwide.
Nick Landon, managing director of Royal Mail Parcels, said, “These new features make Click & Drop an even more powerful partner for SMEs and online sellers. The new features open up a world of delivery at the click of a mouse and ensure that SMEs can spend more time selling, and less time managing their distribution.
“These latest enhancements are part of Royal Mail’s ongoing program of IT investment to make it easier to do business with us and to help small businesses to deliver on their customer promises.”
Click & Drop provides online retailers who use marketplaces such as Amazon with a convenient tool to deal with consumer shipping. The tool imports a recipient’s information directly from the marketplace minimizing the risk of a mis-delivery. Once shipping has been paid for via PayPal, credit card or debit card, the seller simply prints out the suitable labels, attaches them to the parcels and drops them off at a postbox or one of the 11,500 Post Office branches.
The new international options mean that sellers can choose from International Tracked & Signed service, which provides end-to-end tracking and online delivery confirmation; International Signed, which takes a signature on delivery; and International Standard, for cost-effective overseas delivery.
