The future of the Royal Mail and other European parcel and letter carriers is in part dependent on revisions to the Universal Service Obligation, which often requires letters to be delivered to homes on a daily basis.
As we have already discussed on this channel, cutting this requirement to 2 or 3 days a week could help the likes of the Royal Mail to conduct its letter deliveries more cost effectively. However, could out-of-home solutions provide a genuine means of continuing daily deliveries?
