Delivery management platform Scurri has partnered with two-person home delivery company BJS to provide retailers on the Scurri platform with increased flexibility and improved final-meter experience when delivering bulky and larger-size online orders.
Based in the Midlands, BJS specializes in providing a two-person delivery service covering the whole of the UK mainland for homeware retailers, including Richer Sounds, Wayfair, Bed Kingdom and Beyond Retail.
By running its own fleet of vans and drivers, BJS retains full control over the end-to-end delivery process, to improve customer experience and the condition of products delivered. BJS powers its logistics, distribution and warehousing operations with in-house software – working with its partners to understand their operational challenges and using its technology to explore efficiencies through automation.
Rory O’Connor, CEO and founder of Scurri, commented, “For online retailers, the final mile is always the most crucial element of the customer journey, and the stakes are highest when delivering products for our homes that customers often invest most in both financially and emotionally. Both Scurri and BJS share strong customer-centric values and we have full confidence in BJS to always deliver the highest level of service to our retail customers.”
Harinder Singh, managing director at BJS, added, “Our business is built on foundations of next-level service for our clients, and an incredible final-meter experience for their customers. To have a partner like Scurri who can help us deliver more for them is really exciting. With BJS Home Delivery and Scurri both being at the forefront of technology, the partnership will allow us to drive even more advancement in the industry, bringing flexibility for the major retailers we work with through a simple, efficient and futureproof integration.”
