Alstef Group and warehouse automation solution provider have launched a parcel sortation system to improve the operational efficiency of Aramex Sydney.
The cornerstone of this project is the crossbelt sorter manufactured and engineered by Falcon to process up to 16,000 parcels per hour. This system is designed to handle various parcel sizes and shapes, ensuring Aramex Sydney’s distribution network is both swift and accurate.
Alstef Group provided comprehensive support during installation. The company was responsible for managing all installation labor as well as the design and supply of 1,000m2 of mezzanine platforms to mount the conveyors.
Stan Sroka, sales director of post, parcel and retail logistics at Alstef Group, enthused, “We are delighted to have been a part of this milestone project for Aramex Sydney. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that the installation was completed seamlessly, and we are confident that this new installation will significantly enhance Aramex Sydney’s parcel sorting capabilities.”
Sandeep Bansal, chief business officer at Falcon Autotech, added, “The collaboration between Falcon and Alstef Group demonstrates our shared commitment to innovation and excellence. The crossbelt sorter we’ve delivered for Aramex Sydney represents the Falcon’s cutting-edge parcel sorting technology, and we are excited to see its positive impact on Aramex operations.”
“We are thrilled with the results of this project,” said Ruby Wolff, chief operating officer of Aramex Australia. “The new crossbelt sorter will not only streamline our parcel sorting process but also improve the speed and accuracy of deliveries to our valued customers.”
