Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics has appointed Adam Hill as the company’s new UK managing director. He succeeds Thomas Amend, who has taken up the worldwide role of head of mail, parcel & material handling.
Hill joins from Gatwick Airport Limited, where he worked as a program manager on a number of projects delivered by Siemens. His new role will focus on further developing the company’s expertise in providing solutions and operational support across its portfolio.
Commenting on the new role, Hill said, “Siemens has a proven track record with a global pedigree for the efficient installation, operation and maintenance of baggage handling systems with the technical capability to integrate and improve systems and technology.
“Going forward, I am confident that Siemens will continue to combine experience with reliability, foresight and innovation to deliver the highest-level logistics expertise and service to meet the needs of its customers in the UK.”
