Parcel locker provider InPost has appointed a new UK senior management team to deliver its ambitious growth plans and lead an environmentally positive change in consumer online delivery in the UK.
InPost, which is backed by global private equity firm Advent International, has experienced rapid growth and success in Poland, growing from 2,000 locations to over 8,000 within two years. In the UK, the company intends to grow its national network of 850 automated lockers to 6,000 by the end of 2022.
Spearheading the new management team is CEO Jason Tavaria who has a wealth of e-commerce and delivery expertise from roles including leading same-day service Shutl (owned by eBay) and founding Dolphin Music, an e-commerce trailblazer in the early 2000s.
Supporting Tavaria is Lotta Lindquist-Brosjo who assumes the role of chief customer officer. Lindquist-Brosjo joins from eBay where she headed up the marketplace’s innovation and business development arm for EMEA, and also has previous experience transforming the fortunes of companies such as Ryanair and Bet24.
Completing the new management team is locations director Gavin Brice who has an extensive understanding of securing outdoor locations following senior roles at leading advertisers Global Exterion Media and CBS Outdoor, where he developed and led some of the sector’s largest contracts including the TfL advertising concession.
Tavaria said, “We want to help change online shopping behavior to create greener communities and we believe we can achieve this by integrating into how people work, shop and play. We have a growing network across the country with 24/7 availability and are continuing to identify suitable sites within large urban areas including transport hubs, universities and hospitals.”
